Endress+Hauser

Endress+Hauser

Brand description

Endress+Hauser started modestly to become one of the largest instrumentation suppliers in the world over time. In its history, it has had difficult periods but also experienced times of rapid growth. However, sustainable development has always been a priority. In 1953, two seemingly completely different people, 29-year-old Swiss engineer Georg H Endress and 58-year-old German bank manager Ludwig Hauser, founded a small company in Lörrach, Germany, which soon became a global supplier of control and measurement instrumentation. It turned out that this unusual pair complemented each other well – Endress's vision and Hauser's caution were key to success. The young engineer was aware of the possibilities offered by the new technology of electronic level measurements. Until then, measurement results had to be measured and read manually. On the other hand, the experienced banker secured the company's survival through the first few, most difficult years of its operation. The complete solutions, services and instrumentation we offer are tailored to the requirements of all applications in every industry. The wide range of devices allows for measurement and monitoring of process parameters, data recording and visualization, digital communication and process optimization in terms of economic efficiency, safety and environmental impact.
