B&R provides individual components that facilitate the application of complete solutions. Production is focused on machine industry and manufacturing systems. The company also deals with process control. The company is headquartered in Eggelsberg (Upper Austria). The first building was expanded in 2000. Another production plant with an area of 10,000 m² was added. In March 2008, the company expanded its factories by investing around 50 million euros in an additional 50,000 m² that were added to the headquarters.
